SUBMARINE ON SEA BED
SYDNEY, July 3. An unexplained mvstery is reported bv the 30-ton fishing lftunch, Zanc Grey, a converted torpedo recovery boat which has arrived at Sydney after n stormy passage from Barrier Reef. A passenger, Mr. Frank McNeill, chief marine zoologist of the Australian Museum, said that he and five others had seen a submarine lying bottom up on the sand under 60ft of water aboul a mile northwest of Heron Island, near Gladstone, 'Queensland, and distant from the ordinary shipping lanes. /'
