Major Farran, who surrendered cn June 29 after his escape on Jnne 20 from Allenby Barracks in Jirusalem, where he was in custcdy i i connection with the disappearance of the Jewish youth, Alexander Rubowitz, is now under close arrest. Major Farran refused to emplov legal assistance, but is awaiting the arrlval of his own counsel by air from London.
