The lakes benelited from the weekend storm aud excellent rain (from the hydro-eiectrical point of view) fell at Taupo, Waikaremoana and Mangahao with the result that Mangahao is full and Taupo, at 1175.55 feet, is 1| feet helow the spillover. Waikaremoana is not as good as . might be at 2003.1 feet, 13 feet helow the spillover.
