Ivann in the Sun as the reason why the All Black vic.e-eaptain, liobbs, will not play in the seeond test. Doubt still exists whether Scott will lie iit to play on Saturday. He is receiving tivatment for his injured groin. "After his good display against Newcastle .Johnny Bmith may beat Goddard for the eentre position," says Mr Kann. ' ' The selectors are also undecided about the lirst live-eighth position for which Couch and Kearnoy have been bracketed. Couch shows more dasli and initiative than Kearney." In the team given by Mr. Ivann as unt'ler consideration for the seeond test, Thornton is included and Connolly omitted.
