Dominion Dependent On Production
AUCKLAND, June 25. "Amid the eoninsion of cries for a fairer distribution of goods, sufficient purchasing power and decreased working hours, the most important tliing of" all — production — is barely heard," said the chairman of directors of the Farmexs' Trading Company 'Limited, Mr. A. D. Bell, when disenssing postwar trading eonditions at the annual meeting today. Iie said there was an urgent call to all New Zealanders for creative thinking, initiative, foresight and plain honest effort. He considered New Zealanders right in seeking a higher standard of living, fairer distribiition of goods and sufficient purchasing power, but all were dependent on production.
