REPARATION GOODS ARRIVE FROM GERMANY
t v WELLINGTON, June 24. Reparations from. Ger-many in the form of machinery and machine tools have arrived in Wellington from Antwerp and are being sorted by the War Assets Realisation Board. The eqnipment, which is stated to be of magniflcent quality, would not be sold bv public auction but would be allocated to Government 'Departments and industry, said the general manageT of the bdard (Brigadier H. E. Avery). Government departments likely to be aided by the reparations machinery are. the Post and Telegraph Department. the Railways Department, Public Works and State Hydro-electric Departments. • • . . The eqnipment, . in heavy packages,
accompanied by German documents, is understood to have' been taken fromthe Bavarian Motor Works in Bavaria.
