PASSENGER KILLED WHEN CAR OVERTURNS

WELLINGTON, June 24. A man received fatal head injuries when a motor car in which he was a passenger overturned at a corner in Taita about 5.45 p.m. today. He was Mr. John Derwent PauMn, aged 26, Seddon Street, Naenae, a fornier assistant in the Naenae cooperative grocery store. He was married with two children. He was a passenger in the baclc seat of a car being driven by Mr. John McBride, Hataitai, Wellington. As it turned the corner it hit the kerb, mounted a pile of soil several feet high and overturned. . The driver was not seriously injured. __
