LEVIN NARROWLY BEAT OROUA DOWNS

; The Levin Golf Club played a very enjoyable match with the Oroua Downs Club recently on the Cheslyn Rise links. -The game was closely contested throughout, Levin emerging the victors by one game. Levin won six'of the singles and Oroua Downs five, with one halved, while each club secured three of the foursomes. Mills. "Club Games • A bogey match was won by N. Thornley with a card of three down on 'bogey. Very few cards were handed in and players are reminded that no scores can be recognised unless cards, properly signed and completed, are handed in.
