BRITAIN AND FRANCE ACCEPT RUSSIA'S SUGGESTION
Received Tuesday, 9.20/ a.m. LONDON, June 23. Britain and France have acceptted Russia's suggestion for a meeting to disciass the Marshall plan. Mr. Bevin said in the House of Commons today that he had informed Russia that he was agreeable to the suggested date and place for the Big Three discussions. The French Foreign Office has announced that France accepted "with lively satisfaction" Russia's suggestion that the meeting should be held in Paris on June 27. Reuter's diplomatic correspondent says that the three Foreign Ministers, when they meetpn Paris, are expected to set up committees of experts to examine the food, coal and steel situation. The ministers will also probably decide whether the United Nations' Enropean Economic Commission can be used in implementing Mr. Marshall's plan.
