CAR PLUNGES 75 FEET OVER BANK
i SWerviiig to avdid an oncoming vehicle early yesterday morning a car driven by Mr. 1. R. Bibby, bus ; pioprietor o'f Shannon, left the road, and plunged 75ft over a steep bank, finally coming to fest on its wheels against a tree. The vehicle WaS ne'gotiating the fii'st bend «n "Potts' Hill" near Levin, wheh the arccldent occurred. In its piunge through the heavy fern -and brakCn, it turned over seteral timesr. The driyer aird pass sengers in the yehicle had miraculous eseapes. One of 'the passengers who Was thfowh clear during the descent was also uninjured. The vehicle Was' extensively damaged.
