FEW BUYERS PRESENT The clearing sale of stock and sundries, which was to have taken place on Mr. W. L. Carter's property at Moutoa yesterday, was called off after. 'only six or seven head of stock had been off ered, the reason bei'ng the Iack of buyers present and the poor prices offered. The prices realised. for the stock sold was as follows: Two dairy cows, £13 lOs each; two cows, £14 each; one cow, £10; one cow, weak in one quarter, £7. The pigs were unsold, the hig'hest price offered for a sow to farrow being £7 10s. The sale was called" to dispose of 70 high-grade dairy cows, 11 sows and a quantity of sundries.
