It was at this stage that the heavy rain hcld up work -for ten minutes. Currency Lass (>S. Waddell) recorded one of the best iives of the morning when she rau home. from the barrier in 1.13, the last three in '44. Foxland, Tide Area and Shadow King were going steadily at 15 to the furlong to coniplete seven in 1.42 3-5. Cramond Bay • (Clutterbuck) was home from the three in 44 to cover seven in 1.42. One of the best .sevens was that of Sir Saladin (R. Saunders) and Our Pat (D. Collins). They broke 1.42 after running the last three in 44.
