LONDON, June 16. The International Confer6nce on Huinan Rights has decided to ask- the United Nations to abolish slavery m all parts of the world. A sppcial cpmmission is t,o be set up to inquire into discrimination on the grounds of race. It was declared that there are approxiinately 9,000,000 people in the •world who are still living under some form of slavery. There are abour 2,000,000 child slayes in 'China, 2,000,000 slaves in Abyssinia, 700,000 in Arahia, 300,000 in Liberia and other parts of Africa and India, and also 4,000,000 pe.ons in Latin-America. The conference unanimously recommended the aisqualification from the United Nations of any member whicn do.es not abolish slavery.
