LABOUR PARTY EXECUTIVE

WELLINGTON, Jnne 16. Only one change occurred in the election of the central exeeutive of the New Zealand Labour Party. Mr. M. Moohan, M.P., who reeently retired from the position of national secretary, replaces Mr. P. C. Allerby. The result of the ballot, conducted on the preferential system, announced by the returning offieer, Mr. A. J. McDonald, today was: Messrs II. E. Coonibs, M.P., P. Dowse, R. Eddy, M.L.C., J. O Johnson and M. Moohan. Mr. L. N. Hair was runnerup. There were 43 nominations.
