Received Mondav, S.v .p.m. SYDNEY; June 16. 1 New South Wales trunk line services have been conpletely disorganised fol lowingtlast .night's flre which gutted the transmission labpr&tory near Circular Quay. It is estimated that 150 trunk lines are cornpletely out of action and that it will take more than tjvo days to restore the services. The Postal Department will have considerable difliculty in providing a service free of ■serious delay to Br-isbane, Newcastle. West Maitland and other centres oi' Sydney and Newcastle, tlie main northern, northwesterii, mo-r-th coast and far south coast -routes. Thirty towus to which trunk servu.es are cut oif include Cessnock, Oanberra, Grafton, Lismore and Brisbane. The flnds of explosives in the ruius included 70 detonators and a quantity of gelignite stored near the main en Lrance. The flames had licked round the explosives at tbe height of the flre. Two flremen -reee5 v-ed med.ical attention for liglxt injuries caused by falling debris. The origin of the ii re has not yel been ascerfai;red.
