HASTINGS, June 10. Windy and showery weather with a low ceiling, is hampering the search operations which are being conducted by ten elub and R.N.Z.A.p. planes for the Tiger Moth in which Mr. John Dennis Tacon, a young Hawke's Bay and East Coast aero Olub jnember, has been niisaing sinee "he left Hastings for Taupo 011 Saturday moruing, So far as the weather hgs permitted today, the planes operated nxaihly nofth of Taupo but also over the Te Pohue-Tarawera area 011 the route between Hastings and Taupo. This afternoon a report Tyas received of a plane heard and seen at Rotoe.hu, 20 miles frpm Rotorua, flying low at the time when the fuel supply would be near exhaustion, and the scene of search operations has shifted there.
