Received Wednesday, 11 a.m. BUDAPEST, June 10. The Prime Minister, M. Dinnyes, making -his" first address . to the National Assembly, denied -that there had- been a coup d'etat. He said that nearly all members of the Qld Cabinet remjrined in office. Evidence was produced at the first conspirators' trial whien involved the former Prime Minister, M. Nagy, and formei Speaker of the ' Assembly, M. Varga, but this could not be substantiated. When the Government later received evidence of the former secretary of the Smallholders Party, M. Kovacs, it had asked M. Nagy to return from Switzerland uO answer the charges, added MDinnyes, but he had refused. M. Dinnyes announced that the Government would nationalise the large banks before the completion of the three-year plan beginning on August 1, but the new Cabinet stood for private property. It would welcome foreign loans on reasonable terms. In Berne today, M. Nagy told the British United Press' correspondent that he was ''exeeedingly pleased that the world does not give credence to the charges against me and the party which was forcibly drawn from M. Bela Kovac's. One hears daily of new arrests in Budapest and the extraction of new confessions. These methods „ undoubtedly beiong to the policy of Communisac expansion. Such actions are to be expected after the failure of the Moscow conference."
