W.I. DRAMA FESTIVAL
' ' ■ : -'o -4 An annual event of great interest to residents of Levin and district is the * drama festival • condueted by the Southern Wellington Federation of the New Zeul&nd Women's Institutes. The triaie for the twelfth festiyal will be hejd in the College Hall, Levin, qn Monday and Thursday, June 16 "and 19, at Tawa Fl^t on Tuesduy, JUlie 17, and in the -Civic Theatre, Qtuki, on Wednesday, June 18, at 7.45 p.m. Mr. W. J. Mountjoy, Junr,, will be the adjudicator. Mr. Mountjpy is well-known to Levin and" district and his eritieisms, besides bemg very constructive and helpful * to the players, are always entertaining to the members of the audience. To encourage patrons to attend both sessions at Leyin, the federation executive is. having" twosession season tickets at a charge of 3s. Single session tickets are priced at 2s for adults and ls for children. Levin tickets rfiay be Qbtained at Mr. J. s. Dickinson's shop and from Messrs", ""A. V?. Allen, Ltd. Doors will be open to ticket holders from 7-7.3Q p.jp. At Otaki the admission charge is 2s 3d and ticket holders may resprye seats - free of charge at Mrs. Mason's 'shop. Tickets are on sale in Otaki at Mr. t Edhouse's shop.
