Fatal infection can take place in childhood th rough drinking impure milk. Milk-borne tuberculosis can be prevented — 1. By boiling the milk (which kills the tubercle bacilli and alters the composition of the milk) 2. By pasteurising all milk (which also kills the tubercle bacilli but does not impair the nutritive value).
