While the Princess was with the King and Queen at Epsom watching the Qaks being run, there was a rehearsal in London for next Thursday's ceremony The ' ' stand-in ' ' for the Princess was Mrs. Doreen Archer-Houblon, daughter of Lady lvathleen Lindsay, who is considered to be oue of Britain's leading exponents on riding sidesaddle She has written a nuniber of books on the subject and is a kecn rider to the hounds. She is lo, trini, attractive and energetic and during the rehearsal wore a white armband lettered "H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth".
