METHODIST LADIES' GUILD
The monthly meeting of the St. John's Method-ist Ladies' Guild was held -recently., when Mrs. A. G. -Kennerley led the devotions. There was a fair attendance and a number of apologies were recelved. . It was repor'ted that the q-uar-•terly "soeial fendered to the older m'embers was a g-reat success and had been enjoyed by all present. A number of letters from England from gratefui recipients o'f parcels sent by the guild were read, and ft was reported that another .26 parcels had been forwarded since the last meeting. Eighteen v'isits were made to sick p'ersons. it was decided -to hold the annuai eifort On 'Gctober 21. Aftemoon tea was' then served by the hoStesses, Mesdame's And-' riofcsen and Burnham, and the meeting oiosed with the Benedic-' tion.
