WOMEN STAGE PROTEST TO COMMONS

Received Saturday, 1.4 a.m. LONDON, june 6. • Hundreds of women frojn all partsof Britain, who are in London for the Housewives League demonstrations, invaded the House of Commons taking with them a petition asking for the appointment of oompetent Ministers of Food and Fuel. The petition added that the housewives were gravely perturbed by the further restrietions plac'ed on them in the past year by cuts ' in food, clothing, electricity and fuel. A number of women were allowed to go into the lobby to see Members of Parliament. The petition will be presented to the Com.mons later.
