BOS MURPHY'S CLAIM FOR DAMAGES

WELLIN GTUiN , June The aetion in which Bos Murphy is claiming £25, damages for alleged defamation from eaeh .of four defendants, was called in the Magistrate's Court today. Defendants were W. M. Brosnan, a member of the Hutt Yalley Boxing Assoeiation; G. P. Aldridge, secretary of the New Zealand Boxing Council; J. R. Simpson, ehairman of the council; and A. S. Parker, a member of the council. Mr. E. E. Harding appeared for Murphy, Mr. E. Page for Brosnan and Mr. W. J. Kemp for the other defendants. By consent Mr. . Goulding, S.M., adjourned the case for a week without prejudice to the rights of defendants to raise the question of removal into the Supreme Court.
