Outsize Flounder
Some large flounfiers have been brought in by fishing trawlers from Lyttelton lately, says the Christchurch Star-Sun. The best was one of' the dab type, which was 26in. long, 18^-in. teross, and 3^-in. thick, weigning 6-^lb. It was caught in the harbour. Flounders are numerous around the coast just now, partieularly in the vicinity of the entrance to Lakg Ellesmere. Cheeks have shown that those in the lake are growing very rapidly. •
