As a result of Wanderers and Athletic playing a drawn game on Saturday the seniof rugby. championship has been brought to an jnteresting stage. Both these teams were regarded as eontend.ers for the second round honours, along with . Foxton, , who won the first round. This draw gives Foxton a one point lead and with their unbeaten Irecord to date they will be hard to unseat.
