MARCHING ASSOCIATION'S ATTRACTION At a reeent committee meeting of the Horowhenua Marching Association arrangements were made to h'old its first annual ball on Wednesday,- June 11. it was .deeided to engage Billy Larkin5s orchestra . for the ocpasion, and the parents' committee of the assoeiation are making the arrangements, for the supper, which promises to be one of the attractions at the function, Another highlight of the ball will be the first appearance in Levin of a Hawaiian ballet in song and dance numbers, while pupils of Miss Irene Oliver from PalmerScn North will be seen in ballroom •demonstrations of the" latest dances. Tfie Regent Ballroom will be specially decorated for the cccasion, and it is planned to ' ;ransform the room entirely fpr the occasion. The Marching Association has -a reputation for making a suceess of all functions and the committee can assure patrons that this ball - will definitely be the greatest night's entertainment ever offered to patrons. 'Hc'kets are now on sale and as a limited number only are available those intending to be present vould be well advised to purchase their's without delay.
