TESTS OF WANGANELLA SATISFACTORY
WELLINGTON, May 26.' Shortly after 10 a.m. this morning the flooding of the flbdilhg dock began. Twenty minutes later the hull of ~ the ■ Wanganella felt its first touch of che sea since Febiffi&iy la. The water rose slowly till the flood^ ing ceased while the sealing of the forward holds was checked foi* leaks. At 11 .2d the dock wag lowered another four feet. The work was discontinued at 11.46, when the men left the ship foi? lunch. « The test is proceeding satisfaetorily according td Mr. D. E. Eastle, mkrine superintendent of Huddaai i Parker, Limited.
