Except in the case of workers receiving inilk or cream twice daily or neces«ary work incidental thereto, the hours in eacli day shall be continuous. Workers whose ordinary duty is that of reoeiving milk or cream and is performed in two periods with a break of not more than two hours in a day, shall he paid 2s (id'a day extra. Under the old award this payment was ls. A worker other than a shift worker required to, begin his ordinary hours before 5 a.m., shall be paid 2s 6d a day in addition to his ordinary rate. Shift workers whose normal duties begin before 6 a.m or after midday shall be paid 2"s 6d a shift extra. The wage rates for adult male work ers has been increased by 10s weekly under most of the various classilica tions. The new basie rate is £5 11s 8d weekly plus the Court's wo cost of living bonuses.
