- DDNEDIN, May 20. "It is estimated that at July 31 . last there was a total credit of £12,000,000 in the meat pool account and meat industries stahilisation account, Mr. Gr. H. Grigg, chairman of the New Zealan$ Meat Producers' Board, informed a - meeting of the Otago provincial executive of Federated Farmers today. As the result of a recent arrangement with the Government, Mr. Grigg said, no payment would he made out of either of these accounts except hy agreemen'o between the Government and the Meat Board. "I consider that these funds would make an equalisation account for the future which would he of great beueiit in maintaining prices for the farmer," Mr. Grigg added.
