FOXTON WIN FIRST ROUND
SENIOR RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP The first round in. all grades of the Horowhenua Rugby championships were completed on Saturday. Foxton, unbeaten in all their games, won the senior honours and must now have bright chances. Should they not be successful in the> second and final round, they will play off with the winners of this round for the .championship. In all the otfter grades the honours afe decided on the most championship points gained over thfee rounds. The ieaders at the end of the fipst round are: Northern juniors, Foxton; southern juniors, Rahui; third grade, Old Boys and Coliege (equal) ; fourtli grade, College' A, Paraparaumu .and Foxton (equal). * Below is set out the positions of the teams in the varioqs grades: — ,
