LADIES' DAY SHOOT
LEVIN DEFENCE CLUB'S OUTING • Mrs. R. Rolston, nominated by Rifleman R. Rolston, won President V. G. Hunter's trophy on Saturday at the ladies' day shoot conducted by the Levin Defence Rifle Club. Deputy President J. G. Horn's trophy was won by Mrs. A. L. Lumsden, nominated by Rifleman A. L. Lumsden. The conditions were ideal and scoring was again of an excellent standard. R. Rolston (102) was top off the rifle, while A. L. Lumsden, P. R. Catley and S. L. Lumsden each gained a century. Next Saturday an "own start" match will be conducted over the 300, 500 and 600 yard ranges, with ten shots to be fired at each distance.
