EVIL MACHINATIONS MUST BE AT WORK
Received Tuesday, 10 a.m. LONDON, May 19. Unofflcial- strikes ' were bringing discredit on the union movement, :aid Mr. George Isaacs. Minister of Labour, to representatives of ' 37 Lrade unions with a membership M 2,250,000. "Such strikes , do not hurt thr boss, but affect the community, punishing women and children,'' he continued..__ "Trying to win strikes against your officials is not vade unionism as we know it. There must be evil machinations at work that say to hell with the officials."
