A stream of refugees is fleeing from Lahore from terror and threligious war, which has intensi fied as more homes blazed anc the dead and wounded lay in thr streets in the sixth successive day since the outbreak of communa. violence, which has brought all the city's normal activities to a *standstill. While Lahore was comparatively quiet this morning, serioucommunal trouble broke out in wo villages on the eastern outskirts of the city. The police restored • order, but clashes agair broke out and continue. Five are reported dead. New fires have broken out within the city. The Patiala State Governmen1 said that no further accommodation could be found in Patiala for refugees from the riot areas. I" is estirnated that 35,000 refugees are already in Patiala.
