The police entered a Glasgow boxing ring last night and arrested Jake Kilrain, Scojttish middleweigh.t champion who will appear in court today on a charge of striking tlie referee. Kilrain was fighting Fredd.v Brice, of Belfast He was warned thrice' for alleged fouls and in the fQurlh rouml the ret'eree ordered Kilrain to tlie corner for using liis head. Kilrain refused to obey and went on svvinging his arms. Spectators jumped into 'the ring and fried to separate Ihe lioxers but the police had finally to separate botli boxers aua spectators'" who began fighting oacii olher." An oflficial was tliroWn out of tlie ring during the pandemoniiiui.
