There was little movement in the fat sheep market, good yarding including some of the best lambs seen in the yard this season. Heavy lambs were traded at from 32s lOd to 34s lOd with medium at 28s lOd. Heavy wethers sold at up to 40s 7d, ' others making 34s lOd to 35s lOd. Extra heavy ewes brought 2 (5s 10d and unfinished 23s lOd to 24s 7d. Bidding on store cattle from a ful1 rostrum was steady and at tiuies brisk for quality station bred lines. The entry of 1700 head was the largest this

season and offered buyers some attrac tive cattle. --Most interest was taken in bullocks requiring little fattening and in younger steersl The proportion of female cattle on offer was small Forward cond'itioned bullocks sold to £14. 7s, rising three-year steers £11 to £11 7s, and rising 2-year -steers £8 12s 6d to £9 15s.
