IRGUN DEMANDS A JEWISH STATE
Received Thursday., 10 a.m. JERUSALEM, May 14. Irgun Zvai Leumi .has sent a three page me.morandum .to the Palestine Press, asking for "an nn.divi.ded Palestine eas.t and west of the Jordan as a Jewish .state, in which .the Arabs wo.uld Have full civil xights." The memorandum, which Irgun Zv.ai Le.umi states has been submitted tp .all .the United Natiqns, ex.cept "England and her satellites," demands the ce^sajtiqn qf British ruie in Palestine "and the Tr.ansJordan," the withdraw.ai of tro.qps, the estahhshment .of a provisional democratic Jewish Government, and als.o fJnited Nations assisfance in preparing for democratic elections and iin :rep.atriating Jews to Palestine.
