WOMEN'S SECTION OF R.S.A. MEETS
>- The usual monthly meeting of the Women's Section of Shannon Returned Services' Association was held in Laurvig's Haii on Saturday evening. The president (Mrs. C. Guerni) occupied the chair and those present were Mesdames Qunfian (secretary), Morris, Peni, Kemiy, Ritchie, Burtt. Sell, Misses Doreen Ritchie and Madge Coley. Mrs. F. O. Burtt was extended a welcome as a new member. A iurther discussion ensued on the1 proposed arts and crafts exhibicion, which members decided should be held later in the year. It was agreed that a committee meeting oe cailea to make final arra'xigements. The monthly competitions were agai'n held and proved very popular.
