WELLINGTON, May 10. Biscussions • between the national council of the New Zealand 'Federation of Labour- and deputies of the seven unions concerned in the Wanganella dispute are authoritatively described as constrnctive and valuable, and there are more hopeful signs of a move for settlement from tlie union side. Yesterday when the discussions concluded the unions continued stating their case to the federation council, and ; the representatyves left with the intention of reporting, probably on Monday to a full committee of the unions concerned.
