PEGGY RYAN MARRIES
. P.eggy - Ryan, the. 22-year-old comedienne, married Jimmy Cross at her Burbank home on St. Patrick's Day. Jaekie Coogan was bestman at the'weddihg— a family affair with Peggy's. 17 Irish aunts and two grandmothers. After the marriage. the bride remarked that sometimes she wished her family was not so Irish. "X always get them a block of seats for the opening of my pictures," she said. "You know how the .Irish react- when they're happy — they cry so! There I am on the screen, knocking myself out trying to be funny, and there they are erying their eyes out." Peggy is due to report for her next film as soon as the honeymoon is over.
