There will be several race meetings tomorrow, main interest in these quarters of which will centre in the concliiding day of the Hawera fixture and the opening of the Woodville meeting. . Several horses engaged at these two gatherings have also been nominated for the Otaki meeting next week, and their form will be watched with interest tomorrow. In the steeplechase events at both Hawera and Woodville Gay Rouen is a double acceptor. In view of last week's good form he will be a strong fancy for whichever event he contests. Hormuz is expected to race prominently at Woodville, while in the two main flat events at Hawera Prince Revel and Dink's Own will be in strong demand. Other meetings tomorrow are Waikato and Ashburton. For followers ot the light harness sport there will be the Auckland 'and Oamaru fixtures. Several of the horses engaged at these meetings showed up prominently at last week's Wellington Trots. " Win and' place betting - operates " at all abovementioned meetings. Prospects are:
