Man Injured When Car Leaves Road Bouncing and turning oVer after . striking a culvert, a late model coupe car was involved in a spectacular crash at Kuku in the early houfs of this .morning, resulting in the driver ^ bei'ng admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital with head injuries. Three vpassengers in the vehicle, sustaihed minor -injuries necessitating medical attention, after which they were able to proceed to their homes. The accident occurred at 1.40 a.m. when the car, which was proceeding toWards Levin-, was attempting to negotiate a lefthand corner • by the Kuku dairy factory. Travelling 188 feet from where it left the road, it bounced off a culvert, tuimed ■ over ahd crashed through a fence, , endihg up facing the direction it Jhad criginally been traveliing and some 30 feet from the bitumen. The vehicle, which had only registered 3925 miles, was extensively damaged. *
