WELLINGTON, May 7. The three tribunal reiiresentatives oi the unions concerned in the disput over the salvage and repair work on tln liner Wanganeiia, have been invited L, attend toniorrow a special meeting oi the New Zealand Federation oi Labour now sitting in Wellington. Baxter, secrc tary of the federation, tonigl: , to at tend in the presence of tio st»v 1 of Labour, with the object ./ 'iug consideration to the question , iiig ing about a satisfactoiy settleiui-ut. • The tliree representatives oi the unions who attended the sittings of tlu Strike and Lock-ortt Tribunal set up by the Minister to deal witli the Wanga nella dispute but which failed to make progress, are Messrs. P. E. Warner secretary of the Boilermakers' Union Mr. G. G. Oaswell, secretary of the Bngineers' Union, and Mr. T. Hill secretary of the Waterside Workers' Union. - The officials of seven unions involved in the Wanganeiia dispute were twice recently asked, but twice refused, tc. place the dispute in the hands of officials of the federation. Tt is expected that tthe national council's invita tion to ■ the meetiirg will be accepteil by the three executives concerned.
