Moslem President Expects A Decision In Few Weeks

Received Thursday, 9.45 a.m. NEW DELHI, May 7. Referring to Sir Hastings Ismay's visit to London to report on the situation in India, the president oi the Moslem League, Dr. Jinnah, said he hought it would be only a few weeks before, a decision concerning India would be announced. "I pra> God that during the few weeks pending the final announcement all will do their best to save the people from the destruction of life and property," he said. "When the final announcement is made w l shall be free to decide what course of action we should adopt in oui fight, not against the Hindus oi Sikhs. We are fighting so that the true verdict of the people can be obtained by fair and free methods."
