CHRISTCHURCH, May 7. David Morga-n Jones, aged about 36, of Ashburton, was killed about I0.1O a.m. today when a car was struck by a trai'n from Ashburton at Foreman's Road, Islington, close- ta Christchurch. His wife, fcrmerly Mrs. W. T. Richardso'n, to whom he was married cti April 14, and a young man not yet identified were injured. The car was flung fifteen yards away by the impact and badly shattered. Jon,es was for 33 years autside foreman at the Ashburton Hospital Board,- and - retired,- in Ma-rch, 1946.
