Received Wednesday, 10 a.m. NEW DELHi; May 6. The President of the Moslem League, Dr, Jinah, and Mr. Ghandi. met today for the first time since the Bombay discussions in September, 1944. Mr. Ghandi afterward's eonferred for two hours with the Congress Worki-ng Committee. After his meeting with Mr. Ghandi, Dr. Jinah said they had disagreed on the principle of Pakistan, which Dr. Jinah said was the only practicable solution. Dr. Jinah and Mr. Ghandi agreed to do the best possible in their respective spheres to see that their recent joint appeal for peace was carrried out.
