NEW METHODS OF PROCESSING WOOL

LONDON, May 1. An exhibition of new and secret methods of processing and fmishing wool, which opened in London today, includes "tickle proof" wool which is rendered completelv unshrinkable by chlorzyme or silky finish, and completely w'aterproof wool treated with velan. The show also includes a folding ' ' concertina ; ' door made of wool and treated' with a plastic moth, mildew and vermin-proof solution and an outlit for rendering fabrics moth-proof which will soon be oh sale. The International Wool Seeretafiat arranged the exhibition. Lord Bar'nby, a leading figure in Britain 's wool industry opening the exhibition, said he " was extremely gratified to see scientilic research applied so effectively to wool, especially in makiug it moth, water, and firoproof aad unshrinkable,
