! A f meeting of the committee of the Otaki. Football Club was beld on Wednesday:- night,.. Mr. Ev J, Cook1 occupying the.chair in the absence of the president, Mr. Cahill.'. It was decided to write to Mr.. Cahill wishing him -a speedy and compete recovery froni his illness, • . • It was s.tated that the MaoriPakeha match -would be played at. Otaki on June 3. A letter was ,received from J. Neylon,- thankipg the club for its generous help in his accident. Mention was made of the lack of practice by; members of the club, and it was hoped. that -in future - training would be taken more seriously- and , opportunity taken to. attend at the Raukawa on. Tuesday. -and Thursday evenings from 7.45. . It was decided that two sets of numbers be ordered and attached to the' club's jerseys. It was deemed advisable to have blackboard lectures in addition to ground practice, and also that representatives of both Rahui and Otaki Clubs meet frequently to discuss matters of general interest. The question. of lighting on the domain was left in the hands of Messrs. Cook/ and Moffatt to attend to. . The next meeting of the club will be held on May 15.
