A capacity yarding of good coriditioned and good quality cattle, representing the annuai draft frdm local farmers, Was eritered at the Waikanae autumri cattle fair yesterday. - The majority of the yarding was sold at prices .Satisfactory td the vendors, aithoiigh the sale Was lacking in animation owing ' to the ldcal feed shortage. TH6 following is a range of prices realised:-^— Four-year P.A. bttlloeks, £11 15s. £12 to £12 7s 6d; three-year-old steer's, £8 10s, £9 5* to £10; 20-mths.
