CHRISTCHURCH, April 30, ; ■ Rumours current in Christchurch that i petrol rationing is to be reimpqsed are without foundation, according to an official in the Ministry of Supply in Wellington, to whom the subject was I referred by telephone this a.fternoon . He stated that a similar rumour was going about Wellington on Monday, In Christchurch today many motorists were getting their tanks filled anil - laying in reserve stoeks while qil com ! nairies were approaehed for drum lots of fuel.
