FITZGIBBONS— CHAMBERLAIN A friendship begun in the bride's home town of New Plymouth cul-s minated in the wedding of Marguerite, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Chamberlain, and Hal Fitzgibbons, son of Mrs. Atkinson, of Gisborne. The bridegroom, who had seen service with the Air Force in Canada and Europe, was well known, 'while the bride was also well known both in the Taranaki and Horowhenua districts, having live'd in Otaki for sdme time. She had recently completed her nursing training. at the New Plyniouth Hospital. For her wedding, which took place at St. Joseph's Church, she •wore white embroidered organza and an heirloom veil. Her bridesmaids were Miss Beatrix Harper and Miss Beryl D'Ath, her cousins from Otaki, and her sister-in-law, Miss Betty Fitzgibbons, of Auckland All wore f rocks of apricotspotted net. Bridal roof-tree had been secured in Rotorua, where the bridegroom is in the State Forest Service. ^___ ___
